Just One More Page
We are two childhood best friends, Morgan and Sam, who have a passion for reading that led to forming our own podcast. While Sam reads books with magic, weapons, and girls with supernatural powers, also known as fantasy, Morgan reads books related to romance, LGBTQ theme books, and on the odd day horror novels. We decided to start a podcast after realizing that we spent four to five hours on the phone just talking about the recent books we’ve read. This has allowed us to not only stay close as friends but for us to expand what we are reading.

Today, Sam and Morgan are reading the second book in the Dominions series! We had such a fun time reading the first book we decided to dive right into the second book. This book was given to us as ARC by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing for an honest review.
About The Book:
The last book followed Meren whose twin sister will be crown queen. The only thing is that Meren is used as the secret backup princess, which will be used in place of her sister if there is ever a security issue.
Her life is full of chaos when she is kidnapped by a raven, a shadow wraith who needs the queen's help.
The second book takes off as her twin sister the true ruler of her country, is hiding and clinging for life in a desert, while Maren pretends to be her sister. Now the only way to escape is Reven, her heart. But Reven can no longer, control his shadows as they become more out of control.
Even if she doesn’t escape it doesn’t mean true freedom, when Eidolon’s unstoppable forces are after her and there is a traitor among them. But she has no chose to become the queen she never wanted to be.

Book Summary:
Harriet and Wyn have been the perfect couple since they met in college—they go together like salt and pepper, honey and tea, lobster and rolls. Except, now—for reasons they’re still not discussing—they don’t.They broke up six months ago. And still haven’t told their best friends.Which is how they find themselves sharing the largest bedroom at the Maine cottage that has been their friend group’s yearly getaway for the last decade. Their annual respite from the world, where for one vibrant, blue week they leave behind their daily lives; have copious amounts of cheese, wine, and seafood; and soak up the salty coastal air with the people who understand them most.Only this year, Harriet and Wyn are lying through their teeth while trying not to notice how desperately they still want each other. Because the cottage is for sale and this is the last week they’ll all have together in this place. They can’t stand to break their friends’ hearts, and so they’ll play their parts. Harriet will be the driven surgical resident who never starts a fight, and Wyn will be the laid-back charmer who never lets the cracks show. It’s a flawless plan (if you look at it from a great distance and through a pair of sunscreen-smeared sunglasses). After years of being in love, how hard can it be to fake it for one week… in front of those who know you best?

Hello,
Today we sat down and read another book by Kaitlyn Hill called Not Here To Stay Friends. This is a friend-to-lover with a twist of reality dating!
About The Book:
This book follows Sloan who has just arrived in her dream city LA to visit her childhood best friend, Liam. Sloan even created a list of everything she wanted to do with Liam. That is until Liam's father, a reality television show producer, asks Sloan to fill a spot on a new up-and-coming reality show. That features Aspen Woods, the main character of a show called The Cove. This is Sloan's favorite TV show and would allow her to spend more time with Liam since he will be working on the set. Sloan competes against 25 girls, and she feels more attracted to Liam than her celebrity crush. m
