About The Book:

This book takes place in Vermont which may or may not be the reason why I wanted to read this book. This book follows Casey, a recently widowed actress who takes refuge in her family Vermont lake house where she likes to spy on her neighbors. There she meets Tom and Katherine Royce, a glamorous couple who lives in the house across the lake. One day, Casey saves Katherine from drowning, and the two strikes up a friendship. The longer she spies on the couple the more apparent it becomes that their marriage is broken. When Katherine suddenly vanishes Casey becomes consumed with finding out what happen to her.
